Is there an age range?
The English Bookworms Online Book Club has been designed to work with ESL students from China aged 6 – 14. There is a range of books recommended to challenge and delight children in that age range.
Is the book club open to children outside of China?
Children around the world are welcome to become members of the book club. It was created to offer Chinese ESL students a fun and creative way to develop and improve their English language skills. However, any child with a good standard of English is encouraged to join.
Is there a book club for younger children or those with limited English?
Absolutely. Please contact Kate to discuss a personalised reading plan for your child.
What about big bookworms?
Reading the books that you love and the stories that inspire you is a great way to develop your confidence when speaking in English. It will offer a learning environment that develops your vocabulary beyond the traditional topics covered in ESL courses. Please contact Kate to discuss a reading plan just for you.
